Managing Air Waybill Stock
Air waybill stock is a list of unique air waybill numbers allocated to you by an airline to use on air waybills.
Air waybill stock can be added to Sequoia and used to populate air export consolidations, basic shipments or back-to-back shipments.
Add Air Waybill Stock
To add air waybill stock to Sequoia, click on the Data menu item on the main Sequoia toolbar and select Air Waybill Stock from the drop down menu.
An Air Waybill Stock List dialog box will appear, displaying a list of any air waybill stock records previously added to Sequoia. Click on the Add Batch button on the toolbar.
An Air Waybill Batch editor will appear.
Next, enter the information described in the table below into the boxes of the Air Waybill Batch editor.

| Airline Prefix | The 3-digit number approved by IATA to uniquely identify airlines. It can be found at the beginning of each air waybill |
| First Air waybill Number | The first air waybill number that has been allocated by the airline |
| Last Air waybill Number | Enter either the last air waybill number that has been issued by the airline or enter the number of air waybills issued by them in the adjacent No. Issued box |
| No. Issued | Enter either the number of air waybills issued by the airline or enter the last air waybill number that has been issued by them in the adjacent Last Air waybill Number box |
An example of a completed Air Waybill Batch editor can be seen below. Once completed, click on the Save & Close button and the batch of air waybills will be added to Sequoia.
Use Air Waybill Stock
Once the air waybill stock has been added to Sequoia, whenever the airline prefix is used in an air export consolidation or shipment record (see the box highlighted in orange below as an example), you will be prompted to use the next available air waybill number from the air waybill stock.
If you click on the Yes button, the next available air waybill number from the air waybill stock will be automatically added into the air waybill number box.
If the number of available air waybills stock is less than 10, Sequoia will automatically alert you.
Once the consolidation or shipment has been saved, the details of it will be recorded in the Air Waybill Stock List dialog box.
Delete Air Waybill Stock
If any air waybill stock records need to be removed, this can be done from within the Air Waybill Stock List dialog box.
PLEASE NOTE: Any air waybill stock records that have been used in shipments and consolidations cannot be deleted.
An air waybill stock record can be searched for by typing it's number into the filter row at the top of the grid.
Click on a row that requires deleting to select it. Multiple rows can be selected at once by holding down the [CTRL] key on your keyboard and then clicking on each row. Next, click on the Delete button on the toolbar to delete them.
A Confirm Delete dialog box will appear.
Click on the Delete button and the selected air waybill stock records will be deleted.
