Custom Warehousing - Configuring Authorisation & Roles

Sequoia v1.0

Overview

Sequoia Customs Warehousing is a Duty Management system. It will manage the customs processing of goods into and out of the customs warehousing regime.

It is not however a warehouse management system and does not manage the physical location of goods. If tracking is a requirement a Warehouse Management system is required.

Configure Authorisation

  2. Expand 'Sequoia Enterprise Configuration'
  3. Right click 'Warehouse Authorisation Configuration' and select 'New Authorisation'
  4. Highlight the 'New Authorisation' created
  5. Complete the Authorisation details as follows

    • Don't forget to click 'Save' once you have entered the required information

Allow Common Storage Tick this box if your authorisation allows duty paid stock to be stored in the warehouse
Authorised for LCP Removals Tick if you are authorised to remove goods from this warehouse using LCP (now EIDR - entry in declarant's records).
If ticked, removals from the warehouse will result in an ISW declaration being generated. Otherwise an IFW declaration will be generated.
Active From Specify the date from which this warehouse authorisation is active
Active To If this warehouse authorisation is no longer active but goods are still in the warehouse and covered by the authorisation, then specify the last date it was active.
